House Rules:

  • Please no shoes in the house. Please remove your shoes when you enter the house. We have an area with benches as you enter with a shoe bin and rack for storage near the front door for your convenience.

  • We have a boot brush on the front and seasonally there are 2 hoses outside for rinses off your hiking boots if they get muddy.

  • The primary floors are cork-which are great under your feet, environmentally friendly, but can easily dent. So please do not where your heels in the house if your here for a wedding next door.

  • Please take care of the furnishings. I do not want to charge for damages. Please reach out if something seems a miss that our cleaners didn’t catch.

  • Please don’t rearrange the furniture.

  • Please keep your noise volume outdoors minimal.

  • Turn off the A/C and close windows when you go out.

  • Please communicate check-in and check-out times, and we will work with you for best flexibility.

  • We do use the cabin, and have some personal items tucked away - Please be respectful.

GUESTS POLICIES:

  • No parties or events allowed.

  • No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. 

  • We allow up to 6 guests and charge an additional fee above 2 people.

  • Please send along the names of those in your group.

  • No commercial activities allowed. Including commercial photography or filming.

SUbstances:

  • No smoking or vaping inside allowed. 

  • If you need to smoke, please do it outside and discard your filters-do not leave in yard.

  • No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

  • We usually leave a bottle of wine for each reservation, or something tailored to the guests. Please reach out if you are sober and would prefer us not to.

  • We do have some personal alcohol at the cabin-please be respectful and don’t consume.

PETS:

  • No pets allowed.

  • If you do require a service animal please reach out. We have had active wild life like porcupines and coyotes that can be dangerous to pets. We have other details we would like to share to make your stay more enjoyable for your helpful companion if they can not be left at home.

CHECK OUT:

  • Please do your dishes.

  • Please be mindful of trash and recycling receptacles. Locally we recycle Plastic 1, 2, 3 only. Glass, Tin, Aluminum and corrugated cardboard. Other paper products can be put in bin or used to start fires. If trash is full there is over flow garbage in the garage. Otherwise please leave in bin and our cleaners will take care of it.

  • Please do not leave trash outside.

  • You do not need to strip the beds.

  • Please hang up any wet used towels.

  • Please shut off lights indoor and out. Except for the front door light, since it has a dusk for dawn sensor, and we want all guests to have a warm welcome.

  • Please secure and lock all doors.

  • If you have used the solo stove please make sure the cover is secure and fire tools returned to woodshed etc.

  • If grilling in the summer months please clean grill tools and return to tool box. Please make sure not to leave any food on the grill. Please return cover to grill.
